Selling your products on GoFarmer is easy!

Once you have registered as a seller, you will have access to your private seller's administration system in which you can add, edit and delete your products or contact details.

To add a product you simply go ot 'My Products' and then 'Add New product' and follow the onscreen instructions.

The product search looks at both the name of the product and the full description so try and be as descriptive as you can, making sure you enter as many 'keywords' into the description as you can. (A keyword is a word that a buyer may use when searching for a product. Try and put yourself in the buyers shoes and imagine what keywords you would use if searching for a product similar to the one you are selling.)

Each individual advert is also automatically optimised for the search engines in order that more people may view your product. So that your advert has the greatest chance of coming in the top few search results for search engines like Google and Yahoo, please ensure that you include relevant keywords in your product title and description.

Your product also needs to be included under a main product category/sub category. If your product doesn't fall under the categories/sub categories already present, you can email the GoFarmer admin to recommend a new category/sub category.

Try and make sure that the images you upload are clear and well focused. Also, the images will look better if they are cropped to the following dimensions before uploading:

Thumbnail images: width:80 pixels by height:100 pixels

Fullsize images: width:225 pixels.

Any images that have dimensions other than the above will be resized which may distort them.
